We are very passionate about helping to find a cure for Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Hard to pronounce and hell to live with! Epidermolysis Bullosa is a group of rare genetic skin conditions. People born with EB are missing a protein which holds the two layers of skin together. Any friction between the two layers (such as pressure or movement) causes blistering and painful sores.
To help build awareness around EB and help generate some much needed funding for the EB Research Foundation, Startas have teamed up with some of Australia's best known artists who have each painted a pair of Startas sneakers. Each pair of shoes is unique, just as is each EB patient. The artists involved are
