Mulganai Emma Hollingsworth
Emma Hollingsworth, an emerging Aboriginal artist based in Brisbane, is the artist behind Mulganai. A Kaanju woman from Far North Queensland, Australia, she creates authentic contemporary Aboriginal artworks that reflect her culture. Mulganai's mob come from Far North Queensland, Central Desert and Western Desert. Her childhood was spent travelling Australia with her family and visiting many Aboriginal
communities. These experiences greatly influence her works to this day. Hollingworth has had her work exhibited in the Queensland Museum and has collaborated with Life Apparel and, most recently, The Body Shop.
